메콩강의 푸른 꽃 사랑은 흐른다

우리들의 광주는 흐른다
메콩강은 흐른다
무등산은 하늘 연꽃이었다
사람이 사람의 꽃잎이 되어 금남로를 피웠다
무진 고을 골목골목을
총알처럼 눈물처럼 누비던 택시와 버스들
도청 거리에 나가면 누구나 태극기였다
동학년 녹두꽃이 피던 치마였다
저 갈뫼빛 무등산은 오늘도 흐른다
아무르 아무르 산을 넘고
아무리 험한 역사라도 뛰어넘어
메콩 세 손가락 물줄기
자유 평등 평화
동아시아 호랑이는 노호한다
아웅산은 아르헨티나는
광주는 사랑이었다
비로자나불의 오직 이었다
매장의 들판마다 시가 피어났다
저 보라
오월의 어머니들이
오월 그날이 오면
사랑도 명예도 눈물 따위도
하느님이 명하신 어머니
그 이름 하나로
장갑차와 헬기 공중사격을 막아섰던
당신은 오월의 모란꽃이었다
흘러 흘러도 차오르는 영산강이여
쏘지 마라 쏘지 마라
미얀마의 손가락은 십자가
푸른 물결 섬노루꽃이 피었다
오늘도 메콩강은 흐른다
오늘도 무등산은 솟아오른다.

Our Kwangju flows
The Mekong flows

Mt. Mudeung was the lotus flower in the sky
People became the petals of People bursted out in St. Geumnamro

Throughout the Mujin town
Taxies and buses going around like bullet, like tears
Everybody holding Korean flag in their hands throughout the Dochung

It was the People’s flower.

The brown Mt. Mudeung flows as usual
Amour Amour crossing over the mountain
Jumping up the history no matter how tough it is.

The stream of water like three fingers in the Mekong

Freedom

Equality

Peace

The tiger in eastern Asia roars in anger

The Aung San

The Argentine

And The Gwangju were all the Love.

It was the soleness that Vairocana Buddha had said
In the every field blooms a poem

Look at that
The mothers of May

When the day, May 18 comes
Without any love, honor, and tears

only the name, Mother given by God
only with the name

Blocked the armored cars and shootings from the helicopters in the sky on the day May18
You were the peony blossom in the May 18
Youngsan river, filling up over even if flowing out over and over

Do not shoot, Do not shoot
The cross, bule wave flowers have bloomed in the fingers of Myanmar

The Mekong flows now same as usual
The Mt. Mudeung soars up now as usual
