**************************************************************************************

“We support and stand in solidarity with Myanmar’s great fight for freedom and democracy.”

The military dictator should go back!
Our blood, flesh, and bones will be devoted to the fall of the dictator.
You cannot suppress us with fear. We people are ready to fight.
You are trampling on the law and doing injustice! Truly, you are crazy about power!
All the people must wake up and be aware. The dictatorship must be overthrown.

Now, the people of Myanmar, singing the above song “How we can forget”(KabarMakyay Bu), are risking their lives fighting against the military coup force with the determination to bring down the dictators who have seized the political power with the guns and swords.

The military coup forces, led by Min AungHlaing, the supreme commander of the military, seized the regime in a coup on February 1.

In response, the people of Myanmar carried out a civil disobedience movement raising three fingers and tapping the pot to expel the military, the evil spirits mad for power.

The people of Myanmar peacefully demanded not coups but election, not dictatorship but democracy, not oppression but freedom. However, the military coup d'état force chose a hard-line stance against people.

On February 28, indiscriminate shootings and violent suppression were carried out in various parts of Myanmar against the public protesting against military coup.

Myanmar's military and police guns aimed at pregnant women, as well as young teenagers and college students, killed 18 ordinary citizens calling for democracy to be restored, and the world began calling it "Bloody Sunday." So far, nearly 200 people have been killed, and thousands of citizens have been illegally detained.

41 years ago, we, the people of Gwangju were brutally slaughtered and violently repressed by the military coup leading by Chun Doo-Hwan, but eventually and proudly marched toward democracy.

We support and stand in solidarity with Myanmar’s great fight for freedom and democracy, and we demand:

“The Military of Myanmar must stop immediately the massacre and the violence against the people of Myanmar!”

In the wake of a military coup in Myanmar, China declared no intervention, and Western countries including Britain and the United States, have taken a lukewarm attitude toward diplomatic and economic sanctions against Myanmar's military.

The military coup and the brutal massacre in Myanmar are deeply linked to the power struggle between China, Britain and the United States.

Not only China but also the West, including Britain and the United States, are not unconditionally good, and are no longer a force of justice for freedom and democracy.

They are all imperialist forces that are trying to promote hegemony and a war crisis under the pretext of Myanmar's anti-coup protests.

We, the people of Gwangju, pray that Myanmar's people wisely resolve the current situation without foreign interference so that Myanmar's true independence and democratization can be realized as soon as possible.

As the world's history of democracy proves, we believe that the people of Myanmar finally will overcome the violence and fear by themselves. Until that day, we will be in solidarity with them and enjoy the democracy and peace together.

The Military coup force, Get out!

The people of Myanmar will establish an independent democratic government by their own power!”

“Myanmar people, you are not alone.”

“We are connected through the Internet, democracy and humanity.”

“We support and unite in your struggle for freedom and democracy.”
