미얀마에서 광주를 본다

언제 날아올지 모르는
경찰의 총탄
거리의 군인들
불 뿜는 총구
살벌한 총검
장갑차 굉음 사이로
1980년 광주를 본다

울부짖는 수백만 시민들
총알 관통 당해 으스러진 머리
만삭된 임산부 주검에서
오월의 핏빛 금남로를 본다

권력에 눈먼
민 아웅 흘라잉에게서
전두환을 본다

세찬 피바람 앞
새총 돌멩이뿐
오른손 둘째 셋째 넷째
세 손가락 올린
자유 선거 민주에서
도청 광장의 분수대를 본다

사랑도 명예도
이름도 남김 없이
차알 신 태권 소녀
에인절
'다 잘 될 거야'라는 외침에서
'앞서서 나가니, 산 자여 따르라'를 본다

도둑맞은 민주의 봄
지구 멸망 때까지
항복할 수 없다고
죽어도 군부 밑에서
살 수 없다는 연대의 투쟁
미얀마 봄의 혁명에서
5.18민중항쟁을 본다.
 

SEE GWANGJU THROUGH MYANMAR

Not knowing when they fly toward us.
Police bullets,
Street soldiers,Muzzle flash,
Bloody bayonets
I see Gwangju,1980 through the roar of an armored vehicle.

Millions of howling citizens,
Shattered heads by bullet penetrating,
From woman's corpse of full term,
I see the bloody 18th of May Gemnam-ro.

From Min Aung Hlaing; a lust for power
I see Chun Doo Hwan.

In front of a strong bloody wind,
With only slingshots and stones,
2nd, 3rd and 4th fingers in the right hand,
The raised three fingers in the democracy of free election.
I see the fountain of May square.

Neither love nor honor without leaving a name,
Kyal Sin, Taekwon girl, angel.
From her cry "Everything will be ok".
I see " I go ahead, and you, the living, follow me"

The stolen Spring of democracy until we meet the end of the earth,
We never surrender.
The struggle of solidarity that we can't live under military from myanmar's revolution of Spring.
I see the May 18th Gwangju People's Uprising.

 

장헌권 목사는 광주광역시 광산구 서정교회 담임목사를 맡고 있다. 종교인, 시인 그리고 기독교인권단체 간부(NCC)로서 통일운동과 인권운동을 활발하게 펼쳐오고 있다. 

2014년 세월호 대참사 당시부터 현재까지 진상규명과 책임자 처벌에 앞장서고 있다. 

'광주상주모임' 참여와  세월호 관계자 재판에 매회 방청하면서 다수의 시와 칼럼을 통해 진실규명에 앞장섰던 광주의 대표적인 인권활동가다.
